BizScout policies
Legal & Policies
Policies for BizScout, the business prospecting and outreach service owned and maintained by JobLink Philippines. BizScout uses separate accounts and data systems.
Terms of Service
These draft terms govern your access to BizScout. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to the final terms published by its operator. BizScout is owned and maintained by JobLink Philippines, while operating as a standalone service with separate accounts and data systems.
Accounts. Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and notify the operator of suspected unauthorized access. Email verification is required for password-based accounts. You can request account deletion through account settings; deletion removes user-owned app data, while limited payment records may be retained in de-identified form for accounting and operational records.
Credits and plans. Current one-time QRPh packages provide 10, 35, or 100 search credits. Published packages state that credits do not expire and that qualifying purchases unlock the associated feature tier. A search credit is consumed when a deep lead search is performed. Payment is treated as complete only after server-side verification with the payment provider. Do not rely on a browser message alone as proof of payment.
Acceptable use. Use prospect information only for lawful, relevant business communications. You are responsible for your messages, recipient selection, legal basis, required notices, consent where applicable, suppression lists, and honoring opt-out requests. Do not use BizScout for unlawful discrimination, deceptive messages, harassment, credential abuse, unlawful data collection, or unsolicited bulk messaging that violates applicable law or provider terms.
Email and third-party services. SMTP sending uses a mailbox that you configure. You authorize BizScout to process the settings needed to connect it and to send messages you initiate or schedule. Search, AI, email, hosting, and payment features depend on third-party services and may be subject to their terms and availability.
Service and changes. Lead records, email verification, AI output, and estimated lead volumes may be incomplete or inaccurate. The operator may suspend access to address security issues, misuse, legal requirements, or service integrity. The final terms should specify notice, appeal, service-change, and dispute procedures before publication.
Privacy Policy
This draft describes information BizScout handles to operate accounts, lead search, CRM, outreach, and billing features.
Information processed. This can include account name and email; authentication and security records; search queries and results; business contact details; CRM contacts, tasks, notes, stages, and sequences; email templates and outreach history; contact form name, email, subject, message, and related correspondence; SMTP host, username, sender details, and an encrypted SMTP credential; billing name and email, payment intent, package, amount, credits, and payment status; and technical data needed to maintain the service.
Purposes. Information is used to authenticate users, provide and improve requested features, process verified payments, send account and payment messages, protect the service, prevent abuse, provide support, and meet applicable legal or accounting obligations.
Service providers. BizScout uses Neon for database hosting, PayMongo for payment processing, Resend for sender confirmations, and Google Gmail for contact-message copies sent to the platform owner. Search and AI requests may be sent to the configured search or AI providers used by the service. When you connect SMTP, message data is sent through your chosen email provider to the recipients you specify. Provider locations, subprocessors, and applicable terms must be confirmed by the operator before publication.
Retention and deletion. Account data is retained while needed to provide the service. The account-deletion workflow removes user-owned search, CRM, outreach, template, SMTP, profile, and credit records; payment records are de-identified rather than simply erased. Exact retention periods for contact messages in the support inbox, backups, logs, accounting records, and provider-held data must be supplied by the operator.
Security and transfers. The app uses access controls and encrypts saved SMTP credentials on the server. No online service can promise absolute security. Service-provider infrastructure may process or store information outside the Philippines; the operator must confirm locations and transfer safeguards.
Contact. Add the operator’s legal name and a monitored privacy contact here before publishing this policy.
Refund Policy
The current pricing information describes digital search credits as available after verified QRPh payment and states that purchases are generally final and non-refundable. Purchased credits are described as non-expiring.
If you are charged more than once, charged the wrong amount, or a verified payment is not credited, contact BizScout support with the account email, payment reference, date, and amount. Do not send full card or banking credentials. The operator should publish the support address and expected response time before launch.
Nothing in this draft limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived. The operator must confirm the final refund rules against applicable consumer-protection requirements and PayMongo terms.
Data Privacy Rights
BizScout’s operator should handle personal-data requests in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules. Depending on the circumstances, you may request information about processing, access or correction, object to or restrict certain processing, request erasure or blocking where applicable, and raise a concern with the National Privacy Commission.
To exercise a right, use the Contact Us form and identify your request as a privacy matter. The operator should verify the requester, explain any lawful retention limits, and document the request and response. Account deletion is also available from account settings.
Disclaimer
BizScout provides business prospecting and workflow tools, not legal, financial, or marketing advice. Contact records, inferred roles, verification signals, search results, and estimated lead counts may be outdated, incomplete, or incorrect. You are responsible for verifying information and deciding whether and how to contact a person or organization.
The operator should have qualified counsel review this disclaimer, liability terms, consumer disclosures, and privacy practices before the draft is made effective.
